Emily porodila Miu 18. decembra 2017 a potom sa podelila s 2 miliónmi užívateľov so snímkou svojej popôrodnej postavy.
I want to be my best not just for me but for Mia. I want to be my happiest and healthiest so I can be the best mum possible to her. I also want have plenty of energy to be able to keep up with her because if she takes after her parents she’ll be a hyperactive, cheeky little monkey (she already is haha)! ?? . Emily sa priznala, že jej tehotenstvo prebiehalo úplne inak, než by si priala. Trpela silnými bolesťami brucha, ktoré jej nedovoľovali nielen trénovať, ale ani chodiť po dome. Následkom sedavého spôsobu života pribrala 21 kg.
I did a resistance band workout today. Mia didn’t want to be away from me so I brought her outside with me so she could watch me. It worked out well because I got to give her kisses in between sets! ?? . It’s hard to get a workout in with a newborn who needs their mummy constantly but I fit it in when I can – as long as it’s not taking me away from Mia. . I’m feeling so good being able to exercise lightly! It reminds me why I started living this lifestyle in the first place (about 8.5 years ago). Being healthy and active makes me feel great! Celý prvý mesiac hýčkala užívateľov fotografiami s ľahkými cvikmi fitness bez používania závažia44. Foto skrášľovala maličká Mia, od ktorej sa mama podľa svojich slov nepohla ani na krok od jej narodenia.
I just did a midnight home workout while Mia slept! She woke up for a feed so I gave her a quick cuddle (can’t resist) then Dec cuddled her while I had the quickest shower ever to wash my hair. I’m pretty sure most of the mats are still in it from wearing buns 27/7 haha! ?? #mumlife . When Mia wants milk she sure let’s me know about it! ?? . And yep I’m still wearing Declan‘s shorts and I have to wear 2 bras! ?? . It’s not easy, I’m tired, I have less time than ever and I have a long way to go to get anywhere near the fitness level I was at pre-baby, but I’m getting there ONE STEP AT A TIME! ??? . I see my OB tomorrow and then I can start my own FIT Program with all my beautiful members and can step it up a notch! I’ve been counting down the days! ??? Za dva mesiace Emily prekvapila užívateľov novou fotografiou, na ktorej porovnávala svoju postavu pred otehotnením a dva mesiace po pôrode. V poste sa priznávala, že „bohužiaľ už nikdy nebude ako skôr, ale i naďalej na sebe bude pracovať za každú cenu“.
I had to wear my maternity dress to meetings today because not much else fits haha! ?? . While Mia is asleep I’ve been trying to dedicate my free time to working towards the goals I want to achieve this year. I’m exhausted with my new mum role and I’m slowly adapting to it but I also have goals that I want to achieve! ? Being a good mum to Mia will always be my priority of course and I do believe that I’m able to do both well (be a mum & work on my business goals, fitness goals etc). . The difference between achieving a goal or business success is what you’re willing to DO to achieve it. – Excuses definitely won’t get you there – even if they are legit! I always think; “someone out there is busier than me and is doing more to achieve their goals than I am” – I ask myself “can I be doing more?” – Or “Should I be more selective about what I invest my time and energy into?” – It’s all about priorities, time management and dedication I think. ? . .
K jej veľkému prekvapeniu sa namiesto komplimentov za usilovnú prácu na sebe a výborný výsledok dočkala kritiky za nesprávne postavené priority.
Physically speaking I will never be the same (which isn’t a bad thing) and I’m making the most of what I’ve got. I’ve still got loose skin on my belly but my abs are beginning to make a comeback – which shows me that what I’m doing is working (following my FIT Program)! . Some people misunderstand my reasons for living a fit and active lifestyle and think it’s “selfish” because I’m now a mum. Being fit, strong and healthy is important to me mainly because of how it makes me feel. And if I feel good I’m happy, and I’m a much better mum to my daughter Mia and a better partner to my man Dec and so on. I also like being strong for myself because I like it and I love the look of a strong physique! My focus is always on being healthy but I like to look good too and there’s absolutely nothing wrong with wanting to look good!! I’m not sure why there seems to be a stigma attached to wanting to look good. As long as I’m not ever sacrificing my health to look a certain way and as long as it doesn’t negatively affect my family I don’t see anything wrong with it – in fact I see everything RIGHT with it! . Do what makes you happy regardless of what anyone else thinks – as long as it doesn’t directly hurt anybody. – These are words I live by and what I’ll instil in my daughter. The last thing I want is for her to live to please others (like I used to) – there is a difference between showing love and doing nice things for people and trying to constantly please others at the expense of your own happiness. . This lifestyle makes me happy so I’m going to keep living it and I encourage you to live a life that makes you happy too. ? .
